Why do you call yourselves Orange and Lemons?
Mcoy: "We got the name through a suggestion of a friend who saw the album title of the XTC called "Oranges & Lemons". Now, we adapted the name, minodify lang naming, tinanggal naming yung S sa Orange. So it became ORANGE AND LEMONS. We got it because it sounds like a nursery rhyme which is, bagay sa mga songs namin. Para ang daling matandaan, ang daling ma absorb. So we got Orange & Lemons para fruity yung dating, juicy."
You mentioned that this is your 2nd album. Was your first album sold in the market?
Mcoy: "Yes, this is actually our 2nd album. It so happened that the 1st album was released independently. This one is under a major label, UNIVERSAL RECORDS, Yes, its available din sa market. Ang nangyari nga ngayon naubos yung stock because of the 2nd album eh. Parehong lumakas yung demand. Pero its available in Tower Records & Oddeysey, yan."
Do you wirte your own songs?
Mcoy: "Yes, we wrote all the songs Lahat yung original songs."
Who mostly writes the songs among you?
Mcoy: "Kaming dalawa - its Clem and Mcoy, so Castro-Fundales. We've been writing songs together since high school eh."
