Responsibilities

I served as a technical consultant to assist the project manager. The implementation commenced in October 2006 thus the project business process scoping is already in 50% completion when I joined the team. Nevertheless, I provided help in developing some of the Print Layout Designs, assisted the clients in proper data migration of important master data, and gathering of data to initialize the system. I never had a problem in these areas because I have had extensive experiences in systems analysis, database structures and development.

Responsibilities

Description

The system has provided the company to get a consolidated look at the quote activities, closure rates, lost business report, mega-projects report, dollar forecasting and equipment forecasting along with some marketing statistics. The project has been implemented already in Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Hong Kong.

ACCOUNTING SYSTEM

Description

It was a multi-company/multi-currency windows-based general ledger system that was capable of consolidating any number of companies depending on the consolidation setup established by the user. The system could generate a real-time, consolidated or non-consolidated, multi-currency balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, and trial balance. The program had a built-in multi-currency purchasing/item receiving/accounts payable system. Its AP module generates monthly aging reports and payables entries were directly linked to the general ledger. The system was capable of multi-currency bank reconciliation.

Description

The system was actually a windows-based, multi-company and multi-currency sales/account receivables system for a freight forwarding business. It generates monthly multi-currency subsidiary reports, aging reports, and cost-of-sales reports. Each transaction on the system was directly linked to the general ledger, thus produces a real-time financial status of business.

Description

The program is used primarily for recording commercial eggs transactions to generate monthly summaries. But the program was also used in other sales transactions on Breeder Farm and Hatchery by-products. Recording of sales of chicken dung for fertilizer use, culled breeder, day-old chicks, chick boxes, paper trays, double-yolk eggs, cracked eggs, pewee, pipps, hairline, thin shells, pullets, cockerel, etc.

Description

A complete accounts payables system that generates cheque and cash vouchers. It had a link with the items receiving system to automatically generate vendors' cheque voucher and appropriate accounting entries. Request-for-payment voucher could be encoded manually. It had a disbursements management that writes cheque and bank account reconciliation and monitoring features. Generated completes AP reports, aging and summaries. Most part of the program was a windows-based but some were web-based to receive request-for-payment from other locations in the Philippines.

Description

An intranet solution that monitored purchase requisitions across the Philippines, vendor prices and purchase orders. The program was linked with the Receiving/Inventory System; therefore receiving of purchased items traced its corresponding PO number and correct costing was easily established. The system was capable of setting a reorder point level for each item and determining pending and completed PO's.

Description

Initially a windows-based solution that had a receiving entry for purchased, transferred, and manufactured items (Feeds, Medicines, Vaccines and other poultry materials) and automatically updates the inventory stock of the system, as in "Stock Card". It manages the item issuances, item variances etc. Items received from suppliers were linked to the accounts payables system, and vouchers payment could be automatically created. Initially designed using VB.NET but there was a plan to on-line other remote warehouses like feed-mills and dressing plants that's why some portions were already redesigned to ASP.NET/XML Web Services.

In preparation for ISO certification, developed and implemented an integrated accounting (FS) system for different branches, operations and satellite service offices for more transparent information traceability. The system has a capability for a multi-branch / multi-company consolidation of FS reports. It generated single or consolidated balance sheet reports, income & expenses reports, general journal, general ledger, subsidiary ledgers and trial balance reports for the operation cost accounting calculation.

Description

An overall hatchery data management windows-based system that monitors the Egg Receiving, Egg Classification, Egg Storage, Egg Setting, Egg Incubation, Egg Hatching, Day-old-chicks Production and Machine monitoring. The system was actually a program for a day-old-chick in-process/manufacturing. The program required a report engine that needs frequent creation and modification. I didn't have a crystal report at that time that's why I improvised and created my own reports generator. The system was used by different locations across the Philippines. Some areas were on-line using leased line and VPN whilst other locations were stand-alone because of lack of phone installations, no internet connection or no sufficient budget to cover the expenses of putting it on-line.
